Bubbles Illustrations

Hi! My name is Marissa, but everyone just calls me Bubbles.

I have been interested in many different kinds of creative activities from creating wallets of duct tape to even the simple fact of art. With everything I do I put every ounce of passion and love into what I want to pursue. Whether it is simple or it's hard and will take some time.  

When I was little, I wanted to be a fashion designer or a tattoo artist but everyone had discouraged me to go into those fields. So I decided to look into taking a Floral and Landscaping Design class in 9th grade till 12th grade. During this span of time, many things were going on in the background. I started taking modeling and acting classes from the age of 15 till I was 16. Then in 2016, I joined IMVU and rekindled my love for art through avatar editing till 2018. After graduating high school, I applied to Montgomery County Community College and only taking general ed classes to transfer to Temple for Horticulture. During my 3rd semester there, I decided to change my mind and go for their Fine Art program. This made me realize how much I missed doing art and wanted to do it again. At the same time during 2018, I was starting to lose my passion for avatar editing and decided to try a new medium. I started using ibis paint x with my iPad (then later changed to Procreate in August of 2020).

As time has progressed I still continue to this day with my passion for art through drawing from scratch digitally and/or traditionally.  I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
